The Basics of Anti-Aging Skin Care

The very first question most people have when exploring the realm of anti-aging skin care is, “What skin rejuvenation products have been proven to be effective”? Accurate information regarding the multitude of anti-aging treatments flooding the marketplace is the best way to make informed decisions for developing your own skin rejuvenation regime which incorporates the anti-aging skin care techniques, strategies and treatments that best address your personal aging skin issues.

The basics of effective skin rejuvenation begin with the facts on anti-aging skin care treatments. There are several active ingredients that have been clinically proven to be effective skin rejuvenators. One of the most effective treatments is vitamin A derivatives such a retinol or retinyl palmitate.

The Retin A or Renova vitamin A treatments are the strongest although the most irritating treatments of the vitamin A options and are only available by prescription. If your skin needs major rejuvenation attention, ask your Doctor if you are a candidate for the prescription vitamin A treatment of Retin A or Renova.

If not, including one of the other retinol alternatives in your skin care routine is an excellent strategy. The concentration of over-the-counter retinol products can range up to 1%. The basic rule of thumb is, the higher the concentration, the stronger the treatment. Be forewarned though, read the directions carefully because the stronger retinol products can be quite irritating to the skin. Starting slow and gradually working your way up to higher concentrations will allow you skin to adjust to the treatments better. The vitamin A derivative, Retinyl Palmitate, is the less irritating of the Vitamin A options and is considered to have quite effective rejuvenating qualities.

The next most beneficial anti-aging skin rejuvenation treatment is a chemical exfoliant such as an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) or beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) product. The most popular of these acids is an AHA glycolic acid. Glycolic acid should be use in concentrations of 8% to 15% depending on your skin’s sensitivity. Start out with a lower concentration and gradually move up to a 10% then 15% concentration depending on your skin’s tolerance in order to avoid irritation.

The last consideration is including an antioxidant to contain the skin damaging free radicals as well as to encourage overall skin repair. Products containing Vitamin C Ester, Spin Trap, or CoQ10 are all good options to explore. Then, of course, there are other viable anti-aging treatments which can be incorporated into your regime depending on your particular skin rejuvenation needs which include DMAE, Kinerase or Kinetin, and GHK Copper Peptides. Finally, the most critical and essential aspect to any successful skin rejuvenation regime is sunscreen, at least once a day, each and every day!

Anti-Aging Skin Care Products: The Evolution

During the last 10 years more attention is paid to the anti aging skin care. Developments within this category were influenced by such factors as competition among the major brands, introduction of new technologies and new ingredients, as well as worldwide increase in demand for the so-called "rejuvenating cosmetics". People have no intentions of putting up with aging. Today they are turning to alternative therapies and anti aging products; however, they will not spend money on products which do not produce the wished results.

First anti aging skin care products appeared during the late 1980s. The first liposome ingredient delivery system was part of first generation anti aging skin care.

David Jago, an expert in the market analysis for MINTEL, evaluates the changes, which have taken place since then: "At present, the special properties, ingredients and benefits of the products are clearly shown on the label. In the late 1980s, it was only said that those products were firming, softening the skin, reducing lines etc., but their functional ingredients were usually not disclosed. Today’s press often informs us of specific ingredients and their benefits, thus contributing to the consumers’ education". As a result, there appeared a category of skin care products intended for specific age groups or needs. Usually, women aim at making their aging skin look younger, or their young skin - healthier.

In the beginning of 1990s, many anti aging skin care ingredients have been studied. The most important of those, Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHA), became the first ingredients to affect the aging skin. Sally Penford, of the International Dermal Institute, a postgraduate training school for therapists, comments: "It stimulated women to start considering cosmetic surgery, glycolic acid peels and laser skin treatments".

Another "great revolution" in anti aging skin care has been in the use of A, C and E vitamins, as well as group B vitamins and main fatty acids – they all have a special role of agents preventing premature aging. Of course they do not make miracles, but can support the good condition of the skin. As skin ages and is repeatedly exposed to harmful UV rays, the level of vitamin A, produced in the body, constantly decreases. The skin renewal processes slow down and the epidermal layer becomes progressively thinner. Some of the research of the ingredients, such as vitamin C, was held in 1990s. Further, scientists identified two key chemical "helpers" to assist in the delivery of vitamin C through the skin.

The formulations derived from it led to the development of anti aging skin care products, containing vitamin C and products, which contained a combination of vitamin C and pure Retinol (until recently, it has been extremely hard to combine both Retinol and vitamin C together in a stable formulation, as both ingredients are easily oxidized, when exposed to the air, and become inactive). In 1990s this type of skin care was already produced all over the world.

Further on, a great deal of interest in the anti-oxidants has been shown. A lot of studies have been done which show that protecting the skin can delay the onset of aging. The SUVIMAX studies in France showed that the use of anti-oxidants on the skin slows down the aging process. It is also possible to reduce lines and improve skin firmness.

Benefits of anti-oxidants were detected in grape seeds extracts. After that, cosmetic companies started using these benefits in their skin care products. Grape polyphenols are natural compounds derived from green grape seed extract which have been shown to have a powerful anti-oxidant effect. They shield the skin from the aggression of a wide range of free radicals and are known to help maintain the skin's moisture levels.

In the middle of 1990s Estee Lauder has completed research into understanding more about skin cells losing energy. Dr. Maes, Vice-President Research and Development, Estee Lauder Worldwide, explains: "We cannot make the skin look like when it was in youth. Technologies can decrease the lines by 50%, but we will never decrease them by 100%. We have studied skin samples and found that its thickness is already decreasing from the age of 20. In biological terms, if the cells are losing energy they will also lose their ability to protect themselves against the environment."

He compares this loss of energy to that of a battery running low which needs to be recharged. Thus, to slow down aging and protect the skin cells, manufacturers started using anti-oxidants, sunscreens and skin energizing technologies to “recharge” cells. They are described as a next generation skin nourishers that enable skin to tap into a fuel source of bio-available micro-nutrients.

The scientists have studied different types of skin aging and it means that they are capable of developing skin care which will effectively abate aging. It is recognized that 90% of skin damage is caused by external environmental aging. This includes smoking, wind, chemicals, and, most importantly, UV radiation. The level of pollution increases so quickly that skin cells can not develop self-protection mechanisms. Free radicals or oxidants are naturally generated in the body as a reaction to the aggression of external, environmental factors as well as internal factors such as stress and tiredness. A consequence of this aggression is an acceleration of the skin's aging process. Most of skin damage is done in the early years and people do not see the results of this until they are in their forties and fifties.

The reason for this is due to the skin's chronological aging, which we can do nothing about. Internal, chronological aging is largely a consequence of genetics and affects skin all over the body.

Modern scientific research in skin care and the growing knowledge of the skin's physiology mean that it is possible to stop and even repair skin damage which occurs later on in life. Thus, the latest thinking and research is focused on developing skin protection not from a plain Sun Protection Factor but from the cells themselves. The case in point is a new area of cosmetology (allocosmetics) and skin care products of modern generation of late 1990s, which are based on cell extracts that have lately drawn much attention of scientists. Cells can segment themselves and reproduce identical copies, replace old skin cells by new ones of the same type, take part in biochemical skin processes. This is what we call lifetime self-rejuvenation.

The strides made in anti aging technology over the past decade have been astounding and clearly show no signs of abating. We can be certain that there will be many more exciting achievements in anti aging skin care technology to come.

Anti-Aging Skincare Basics

To visibly reduce the signs of aging, the first thing to do is to stay out of the sun. It is so sad and ironic that the very thing that lifts our spirits, droops our faces.

Excessive sun exposure damages the immune system in the skin, destroys both collagen and elastin production and kills some normal skin cells. Heat and cold also damage skin and reduce functionality. The environment contains many chemical agents that react with the skin and create free radicals which in turn react with the compounds in the skin. Fortunately, proper diet and proper hygiene practices can help reduce the visible signs of damage caused by the environment. Eating a well balanced diet of proteins, fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy and whole wheat grains as well as drinking at least 8 glasses of water will help retard the appearance of aging.

Many cosmetic companies have developed several lines of products to cater to your specific skincare needs that meet the criteria for the essentials of great skincare. The 6 essential steps to younger-looking skin are:

1. Cleanse
2. Exfoliate
3. Freshen
4. Moisturize
5. Protect
6. Drink plenty of water

This may seem like an awfully lengthy daily routine. However, I assure you that you can achieve great results and it takes less than 5 minutes twice daily. Look for a streamlined skincare program that delivers dramatic anti-aging benefits when used all together consistently twice daily (morning and night). I suggest finding one brand and sticking to it. Very often a particular brand formalates all of their products to work together. You will experience the best results that way. As always look for a try-before-you-buy service, usually offered by Beauty Consultants and/or a satisfaction guarantee. This will ensure that you will only be purchasing the products that work best with your skin type.

Start with a cleanser: Look for a gentle exfoliating cleanser for your skin type. Some contain vitamin E (a free radical scavenger) as well as botanical extracts that freshen the skin in one simple step.

Next is moisturizer: Age-Fighting Moisturizers should absorb quickly, leaving the skin feeling soft and younger-looking.

Solutions with Sunscreen SPF 15 provide protection from the sun’s rays to help prevent skin damage and premature aging. Some also contain vitamin derivatives A (to help boost the skin’s own ability to produce collagen) and E (free radical scavenger).

Night Solutions are designed to be used at night to improve skin’s overall texture and firmness. Some also contain vitamin derivatives A, C and E and anti-aging botanicals.

This is a simple daily routine that will deliver excellent results when followed consistantly. Remember, the one part of your body that is always exposed is your face. Put your best face forward and take proper care of your skin for a smoother, softer, more radiant, younger-looking appearance. When you love the way you look, you have a tendency to feel great too! And it will show in every aspect of your life!

Powerful Anti-Aging Secrets!

Many people have searched the world over looking for the fountain of youth. We all long for eternal beauty, free of wrinkles or the sagging of age. To answer this yearning, the market has been bombarded with creams and serums boasting the secrets of anti aging. Anti aging has become a market in itself and we have answered the call, purchasing our fill or at least the fill of our pocketbooks! However, perhaps the answer does not lie in a miracle lotion or cream, but in the life we live before we reach our advanced years.

Do not misunderstand, I am not suggesting we will forever be free from wrinkles if we live properly – at some point our skin will sag and we will show our age. Instead, I am suggesting our society is always looking for the quick fixes. To lose weight, we look for a miracle pill instead of eating right and exercising. On the same note, instead of eating properly and caring for ourselves, we look for the easy way out – something to rub on our faces to remove the evidence of the life we have chosen to live, or even worse, surgery to cut away and stretch out the skin we have chosen to disregard for so long. On the other hand, why don’t we accept the creases that line our faces as trophies we have earned with the years we have endured on this Earth? Why is the exploration in search of anti aging so much more popular than the search for self-acceptance?

At the end of the day, when our eyes close for the final time, will it matter how many wrinkles line our faces, how tight our stomach muscles are, or the amount of gray in our hair? Will the pursuit of anti aging be a factor when age ceases to exist? Of course not. Perhaps we should spend our lives pursuing something that may actually proceeds us in death, instead of that which fades with lost memories.

A Quick and Effective Solution For Your Wrinkles!

When we were young, the word wrinkles and fine lines doesn’t seem to cross our mind at all. Because at that time, our skin still have intact collagen framework thus making it remains moisturized and elastic at most of the time. However, as one ages, our skin seems to lose its elasticity and develop more and more fine lines and wrinkles. These happen as the effect of the wear down of our skin collagen support, along with our daily facial expression and environmental exposure.

To treat this aging skin effect, you can go for wrinkle therapy to reduce the wrinkle effect. Wrinkle therapy is actually a treatment for your skin by providing nutrients or vitamins that your skin needs. Some of the examples are botox injection, Collagen injection, applying anti-wrinkle creams and etc.

Botox is actually a highly purified preparation of botulinum toxin A. Commonly used in aesthetic industry for injection, Botox acts by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to muscles and so paralyzing the muscles. It is only injected in a very small amount into certain muscles to reduce the effect of wrinkles.

Besides Botox, you can opt for Collagen injection. Collagen is a formation of protein which forms a network of fibers that provides a framework for the growth of cells and blood vessels. By injecting collagen, you can get plumper and smoother appearance.

Though can provide effective and fast result, you should be cautious on choosing the wrinkle therapies. Make sure that you explain your health condition thoroughly to the physician before undergoing any sort of treatment. This is to make sure that your body would not falsely react to the treatment and cause any unwanted result. Usually, prior to subscribing any wrinkle therapy to you, your doctor will conduct some health screening to find out suitable type of therapy and whether or not your condition allow for such treatment.

Other than Botox and Collagen injection, there are also anti wrinkle cream that offers gradual skin texture improvement. This option is generally more cost effective and widely available in the market. You can easily get them without any doctor prescription. However, anti wrinkle cream is not as effective as botox or collagen injection because they work only on the skin surface and difficult to penetrate to the skin. So, the effect for this treatment may take more of your time.

Anti-aging Skin Products

What are anti-aging skin products?

Anti- aging skin products have completely revolutionized the concept of skin care. If you are ‘blessed’ with a dry type of skin then you have the best reasons to feel worried and anti-aging products are absolutely essential for you. After washing your face your skin feels tight and stretched. There is this dull and lifeless face that stares at you when you look into the mirror. You are horrified with the discovery of those dreaded fine lines around your eyes, mouth and cheeks. You ask yourself “Am I aging? But isn’t it too early?” You start to panic and are unable to figure out what can you do to prevent such immature aging? Relax. You still have time to rectify those fine lines with the repeated and daily use of anti-aging skin products. Anti- aging skin products prevent general ageing of the skin by providing reinforced protection against daily aggression. These anti-aging products fight both visible and invisible signs of ageing. So arrest those wrinkles with these anti-aging skin products before they start showing up and drive you crazy.

How do I choose an anti-aging product that will suit my dry skin?

The market is flooded with a variety of anti- aging products and each one of them is suited for individual skin types. You have got to carefully choose the right anti-aging skin product that will ideally and specifically suit your dry skin type. Some key anti-aging ingredients that you must check out in the anti-aging products that specifically suit your dry skin are hyaluronic acid, anti-oxidant grape seed, essential oils (olive, rosemary, emu, etc), silk proteins, glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy acids, anti-aging vitamins A, C, E and D and many more such active principles that will smoothen out fine lines and hydrate your skin. Try to select anti-aging products with the above-mentioned ingredients that will soften your rough and dry skin and provide adequate hydration. Make sure that your anti-aging skin product gets quickly absorbed into your skin and produces immediate results. Check out whether your anti-aging product is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and non-photo toxic. The last thing you expect is damaging your skin instead of repairing.

Types of anti-aging products

Anti-aging skin products are available for both men and women. Anti-aging products for dry skin are available in a variety of forms. You can choose from cleansing gels, multi-active toner, facial creams and lotions, face emulsions, shaving creams, shaving lotions, etc. Anti-aging products for men are specifically formulated to enhance the texture of a man’s thicker and tougher skin as compared to a woman’s skin that is far more soft and delicate. Most of these anti-aging skin products are loaded with the goodness of nature. So you don’t have to lose sleep over any drastic side effects as most of the anti-aging products contain various natural ingredients extracted from plants and herbs that provide optimal nourishment to your dry and parched skin.

Anti-aging: Is It Really Possible?

Although it is obviously not possible to turn the clock back entirely, we can take many steps now to ensure that not only do we slow down the aging process, but we can also reverse many of the signs of aging that we may presently be experiencing.

The biggest key in the fight against aging is of course our diet and nutrition. The old adage, "you are what you eat" is absolutely true! It is impossible to expect to be healthy and vital if we are not eating the nutrients we need to keep our bodies performing at its best.

I truly believe that the increase in lifestyle diseases that we are presently seeing is in great part due to poor diets and junk food. It is very important to try to increase the amount of whole foods that we eat and decrease the amount of processed foods that we eat.

Processed foods have almost no nutrients left in them ... they are considered "empty calories". But even worse than that, the preservatives, additives and chemicals that are in these processed foods interfere with many bodily functions including hormones. These chemical toxins are called "xenoestrogens" and they often trigger a condition called "Estrogen Dominance".

What is Estrogen Dominance? Simply explained, it is when the ratio of Estrogen and Progesterone get out of whack and you have higher levels of estrogen, compared to progesterone. There are many things in our modern society that contribute to this imbalance including birth control pills, caffeine, alcohol and xenoestrogens (which are caused by external toxins and pollutants like detergents, pesticides, plastics etc.), as well as impaired liver function and even stress!

The hormonal imbalances caused by Estrogen Dominance have many negative effects on the body and can make you feel a lot older by triggering many symptoms like poor memory, "foggy brain", weight gain and difficulty losing weight, increased facial hair, decreased sex drive, vaginal dryness, darkened skin pigmentation, water retention and much, much more. Estrogen Dominance also increases the risk of many lifestyle diseases like cancer, fibrocystic breasts, breast cancer, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and much more.

Estrogen Dominance is much more common than people think, thanks to the world we live in. And it is happening to women at younger and younger ages, even to women in their twenties or thirties! So how do you combat estrogen dominance? One of the most important changes you can make is losing weight if you are overweight, since this triggers a vicious cycle of hormonal imbalances and weight gain, especially in the abdominal area.

But of course, how you lose weight is just as important, if not more, than just losing weight. If you lose weight following unhealthy weight loss diets, you could be unbalancing your hormones even more. The better method is to lose weight in a slow, steady fashion by eating healthy, nutritious food and NOT starving yourself.

If instead of following an unhealthy diet, you follow a healthy eating program you will not only lose weight, but will have many health benefits as well. Check out these little-known, powerful anti-aging benefits you get from eating a healthy, balanced diet:

- Eating a healthy diet decreases free radical production through proper nutrition, which is a powerful anti-aging technique, as well as decreasing the risk of developing different types of cancer

- Eating healthy also helps to promote anti-aging by lowering cholesterol and triglycerides to healthy levels

When you follow a healthy diet and do not skip meals or starve yourself, you actually speed up your metabolism and increase fat burning capabilities. Dieting is one of the best ways of slowing down your metabolism, which of course makes losing weight very difficult. Yo-yo dieting is a good example of this. Each time you lose weight and gain it back, you are slowing down your metabolism so that each subsequent diet gets harder and harder to lose weight.

- It is also possible to make a few simple changes to your diet so that the food you eat stabilises your blood sugar levels and reduces insulin and improves insulin resistance ... ultimately decreasing the risk of Diabetes. And did you know that Insulin is a major culprit in weight gain?

- And here is a very powerful anti-aging secret: eating a healthy, balanced diet supports your liver! If your liver works better, your body detoxifies more efficiently, which improves all areas of your health (including cellulite reduction the natural way), as well as supporting your immune system which is of course very important for good health

And not only do unhealthy diets unbalance your hormones, one thing that many people don't think about when they decide to lose weight following unhealthy fast weight loss diets: the faster you lose weight, the bigger the chances that you will be left with loose, sagging skin! A healthy eating program decreases the chances of having loose, sagging skin, because you lose weight in a slow, steady way, which gives your body a chance to firm up your skin. There are also many foods you can eat that promote healthy, firm skin tone. (The "Diet Free ... At Last!" Weight Loss Program teaches which foods promote anti-aging and also which foods you can eat to help to improve skin tone and prevent loose, sagging skin.)

Anti-Aging Problem

Now a days anti aging is big problem, natural diet can reduce effect of anti aging. FOODS SUCH AS KALE, sweet potatoes, red bell peppers, black beans and brown rice can trip up Father Time before he comes creeping around adding body fat and depleting energy. As early as our twenties, a gradual decline in the immune and muscular systems begins to set in if not offset by restorative nutrients and regular exercise. It's not simply the years that have a damaging effect on our bodies, it's also those out-of-control free radicals--oxygen molecules that come unglued during normal cell functions. If not disarmed, the radical oxygen fragments attack our cell membranes and leave us vulnerable to such serious health problems as heart disease and cancer as well as signs of deterioration associated swith aging--sagging muscles, wrinkles and the need for reading glasses. Fortunately, the antioxidant nutrients--vitamins A, C and E, selenium and zinc--fight back. Here are specific foods that contain bodyguard nutrients and a dietary plan that promotes lasting vitality and timeless beauty.

Some Dietary Rules to Reduce Anti Aging Problem:

A diet rich in antioxidants stimulates the immune system and helps protect the body from signs of premature aging. Steal from time and live by the following guidelines:

1. Eat five vegetables and fruits daily. For nutrient density, choose produce in living color--deep greens, reds and oranges as in collard greens, tomatoes and mangoes.

2. Consume plenty of beans. For low-fat protein and high-quality fiber, make legumes--dry beans, peas, lentils or tofu--the focus of your meals several times a week.

3. Get enough calcium--800 to 1,200 milligrams daily. To keep your bones and teeth fortified, count on low-fat dairy products, especially yogurt, broccoli and spinach.

4. Get your fill of water. This is the nutrient your body needs in the greatest amount. Use a variety of liquids like diluted juices and herbal teas to achieve your quota of eight cups a day.

Anti-aging Skin Care Treatments: What to Do When that First Wrinkle Appears

There comes a time in everybody’s life when we start to consider the implications of growing old and the possibilities of using one of the many different anti-aging treatments that are available. Coincidentally, this time of life is usually around the same time we discover our first wrinkle or laughter line. These first signs normally become apparent in your 30s or 40s if you are lucky and while that is the first time we will be likely to consider using anti-aging treatment, we really should start using it earlier than this. By keeping our skin healthy from an earlier age we are at least prolonging the aging effect as long as possible.

If you do leave it until the very first signs of wrinkles it is possible to still do something about it. When the first wrinkles do materialise, don’t ignore them. Denial is the worst possible move at this point. Application of a good anti-aging cream may help remove some of the wrinkles and stop new lines forming.

How do anti-aging products work?

Good anti-aging treatments are far from being a miracle cream, and contain vital nutrients and vitamins that are proven to help rejuvenate the skin. Most contain Retinol, a form of Vitamin A that has proven in recent studies to have a considerable rejuvenating effect on aging skin.

Other types of treatment use different chemicals and vitamins to improve the look of your aging skin.

The collagen molecules in skin begin to break down as we age and this is what creates the wrinkles and lines on our faces. Most anti-aging creams are only able to contain partial collagen molecules because they are too large to enter the skin by use of a lotion. Hydroderm have developed the patented Collagen Infusion Delivery System. This innovative formula delivers entire collagen molecules into the skin, which give a healthy and rejuvenated glow taking away the wrinkles and lines associated with old age.

Dermabrasion is one of the oldest known treatments, developed in 105 by a German dermatologist. Originally created for the treatment of acne scars, it has been successfully used for many decades to remove many forms of skin abrasions and can even be used for the safe removal of tattoos. Dermabrasion patients do suffer a certain amount of rawness and slight pain in their faces once the treatment is complete and an opaque yellow fluid drains from the sites but this is perfectly normal and should be expected. The scabs that this liquid leaves can easily be removed with wet cloths.

Surgeons who carry out laser Dermabrasion insist it is a far superior form of Dermabrasion because the use of the laser facilitates much more accuracy and, therefore, better results.

Microdermabrasion utilises a fine mist of crystals that smoothen the skin and a vacuum action that removes dead outer layers of skin giving you smooth, soft surface alleviating the appearance of aging skin.

Microdermabrasion treats sun damaged skin, age spots, wrinkles, fine lines and just about every type of aging skin problem you may face. An entire program of Microdermabrasion can take as little as half an hour to complete and there is little discomfort and no side effects. Any skin colour can be treated and upon completion of the program the user can return to a normal daily life.

On the discovery of Microdermabrasion several years ago, it was first necessary to go to a professional dermatologist in order to receive the treatment however, now you can buy a home Microdermabrasion kit so you can do it yourself from the comfort of your own home.

Products and Advancements in the Anti-Aging Marketplace

HGH is produced naturally, in everyone, by the pituitary gland. After the age of 23, your natural HGH levels begin to decline and you may start to experience the affects of aging. This includes weight gain, decrease in energy, lack of sex drive, low endurance, muscle atrophy and more.

HGH therapy comes in several forms. The first is by injecting Human Growth Hormone directly into your bloodstream. This invasive procedure can only be prescribed by a physician. Injectable HGH therapy was originally intended for children with stunted growth but physicians soon correlated the benefits to be helpful in trying to offset or delay the aging process and resulting health risks associated with getting older. Doctors are now liberally distributing this substance to elderly patients seeking to slow the effects of aging. The main problem associated with injectable Human Growth Hormone is that it often costs upwards of $3000 a month. That’s $36,000 a year and it is not covered by insurance. Additionally, this invasive therapy comes with some health risks. Side effects such as allergic reactions, fever, and swelling are just a few of the risks associated with the injectable form of therapy.

Due to the steep costs and risks of certain side effects associated with this invasive form of therapy, explorations of alternatives have become popular. Alternative HGH therapies include “All-natural supplements, including capsules, powders, and sprays. There is one very important point to understand about these types of Human Growth Hormone therapy. They do not offer “actual” HGH. The only way to get actual Human Growth Hormone is by having it injected directly into your bloodstream via syringe, physician, and prescription. I have seen, in this crowded marketplace, several products promoting themselves as “HGH” in a spray. This is impossible because HGH is a large unstable molecule that cannot pass thru the membranes in the mouth. Furthermore, it is illegal to provide true-form HGH without a prescription. The goal of alternative therapies is to stimulate your own body’s pituitary gland to produce more Human Growth Hormone on its own. These all-natural therapies have several benefits. Whether the HGH therapy is termed “all-natural”, “homeopathic”, or spray form, the fact is that these alternatives are only around 2% of the cost of the injectable Human Growth Hormone.

What should I choose?

With HGH alternative supplements saturating the market, it is very difficult to make a decision as to what is right for you. What is the most effective, safe, practical, and affordable solution available? Sprays remain suspect because of the premise behind them. As stated earlier in our report, we have found that is impossible for a spray to deliver actual HGH sublingually. Furthermore, administering accurate doses sublingually presents a challenge for sprays. Additional drawbacks are the potential binders and fillers that are present in this form of therapy. Lastly, taste remains a concern with all sprays. Powders are less popular and prevalent on the market. Having to measure proper mixes and portions is a hassle that I would prefer not to deal with but may be a preference for those that find pills and capsules intolerable.

Most of the “all-natural” capsules, pills, and tablets are similar in what they promise to offer. I have found that Ultimate HGH™ and GenF20™ HGH releasers are two of the more popular and effective HGH supplements, in capsule form, that stimulate your own pituitary gland to produce more HGH naturally. Neugenisis™ is new to the market but offers its HGH releasing formula infused with rich antioxidants promoting additional Wellness benefits. Additionally, Neugenisis™ is promoted in a package that includes another logical Antiaging product, a topical anti-wrinkle cream. Neugenisis™, on its own (individually) measures up well to all the stand-alone HGH releasing products available. Neugenisis™ is different in that it provides additional antioxidant properties and is an effective product in a system that was created to offer the most Antiaging benefits available. New research suggests the benefit of combining all-natural HGH releasing compounds with skin rejuvenating topical crèmes.

The Longevity System

With higher HGH levels come improved elasticity of the skin, strengthened nails, and enhanced skin rejuvenation. One of the main ingredients in all the HGH releasing products mentioned is L-Arginine. L-Arginine is involved with the production of new skin and connective tissue. It is essential to the formation of collagen and boasts many benefits that relate to skin repair and rejuvenation. NeuLife Laboratories has brought a new combination to the market and offers the “Longevity System”, featuring a high-grade HGH releaser in caplet form, Neugenisis™ (with active ingredient L-Arginine), and an aggressive topical anti-wrinkle crème, Neuderma™. Neuderma ™compliments the HGH benefits provided by Neugenisis™. Neuderma™ is an aggressive topical anti-wrinkle cream which includes the benefits of Pentapeptide technology (Matrixyl and Argireline). In my research, I have established that both products, Neugenisis™ and Neuderma™ , can stand individually as “A” list products but as a system, Neulife Laboratories has created a niche that, up to this point, has not been filled. Both, HGH releasing supplements and skin crèmes, can run upwards of $100.00 each. With this new system, you get the all-natural HGH releasing supplement and the topical Antiaging, anti-wrinkle crème, for approximately the same cost of some individual products.

If you can tolerate the costs and potential side effects of invasive HGH injections, this form of therapy may provide the quickest benefit of Human Growth Hormone. If you seek alternatives, sprays and powders have more limits than potential benefits. It is my opinion that a system of therapy, including a HGH releaser and a topical wrinkle crème, can provide the ultimate package for those seeking Antiaging benefits. NeuLife Laboratories has introduced the “Longevity System” to provide the comprehensive benefits that many seek but seldom find.

Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment, Products and Tips

Why to let people know your age when you can keep them guessing? But shedding off years from your appreance isnt always a piece of cake. At times, it can present a picture where you are trying a bit too hard which you should avoid. But there are some magic tips which you can always use to hide your age

1) Give special attention to neck while moisturising your face. Neck reflects your age.

2) Regularly follow a routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising your skin.

5 DIY Anti-aging Tactics

Do you want your life story to be a long and joyous one, without having every line written on your face?

Yes, we all do! Is there anyone who doesn't want to look as good as they can, for as long as they can?

While there are some very quick fixes such as, minor to major cosmetic surgeries, there are some less extreme measures that you can use to look and feel younger on a daily basis.

(1) Check your attitude!

How do you feel about life?

Is your life going the way you want it to?

Do you take responsibility for what you have created, good or bad?

How about accepting who you are?

Be grateful for what you have, family, friends, a job etc. Then do an assessment of the things you want to change, if any.

Watch your self-talk, if you wouldn't say those things to others, don't say them to yourself!

Be aware of why you want to make any change in your life. It must be something you have committed to, else you will most likely fail and add one more reason to criticize yourself.

(2)Know your nutritional needs!

What you eat has a huge impact on how you look and feel.

The foods you eat help make and maintain soft, smooth, glowing skin.

Wrinkle free skin is important in any anti-aging effort.

The recommended daily food requirements are good guidelines, but you must know how to balance your food intake to keep your body performing at its best.

At any given age, we might need to boost specific nutrients or hormones.

Get regular checkups!

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables as snacks, instead of over-processed manufactured "fast foods".

Try not to rush your meals.

When food is not given enough time to be digested properly, it becomes a burden on your body, causing un-neccessary wear and tear and premature aging!

(3)Take timeouts!

When was the last time you had some fun?

A good laugh?

If you cannot remember, it's been too long!

Even if you must laugh at yourself, find something to laugh about.

Old photos, old clothes you've kept that you will never wear again, find something, anything.

What about pampering?

Done anything special for yourself lately?

A facial, or manicure?

In -home or at a salon, it doesn't really matter.

It's the time you spend just focusing on yourself that will make you feel special and cared for.

We all need that!

(4)Be interested and interesting!

Yes, we are all short on time, we are busy people, but you must make time to be interested in others, your community, the world. You will find that is the only way to be interesting yourself.

Learn something new, a language, a new style of cooking or dance. Learn about a culture that's different than your own.

Ageless, interesting individuals always seem to want to know more about life.

Try not to pry or judge, just be open to sharing opinions and knowledge.

(5)Groomimg is ageless!

When did you last update your looks?

A new hair style or wardrobe is a very effective anti-aging tactic.

Today there are so many flattering styles of dressing, everyone of us can find one that works perfectly for us.

Subtle changes in hair coloring can make you look years younger.

Lose a few pounds if you need to.

There is a diet that will work for you.

Find skin care that's right for your skin type.

Take care of your nails and teeth.

Beautiful well cared for hands is a must for you, if you want to appear younger!

Anti-aging is more a matter of making the most of what you have, than the sporadic and temporary results gained by invasive and expensive surgeries.

Agelessness is more about maintenance over the long-term than any qick fixes.

Meaningful beauty is not just smooth skin (which is nice) but it is also an outlook on life, your life.

Treat yourself and others with respect.

Balance your physical, emotional and spiritual life.

No one else can or will do it for you!

Get rest when you need it, play when you have the opportunity.

Own your emotions, accept responsiblity for your actions, apologise for your mistakes, give and accept praise gracefully.

Some Words About Anti-aging and Disease Prevention

The aging process is for the greater part no mystery anymore. It consists for a great part of daily damages done on the macroscopic, tissue, cellular and genetic levels. These add up as the years are passing. These damages have specific causes like oxidating agents, sun beams, mechanical wear and tear, psychological stress, lack of some nutritional components and too much of others, like fat.

Another component of aging is the reduction of the telomere chains at the chromosome ends, as each cell division occurs. However, the body has means to repair these ends again, with an enzyme called telomerase. The rapidity of the aging process depends on lack of efficiency in this repair process. The above mention aging causes also slow down this repair process.

The factors causing aging, also causes other diseases like cancer and coronary heart disease. Both aging and these diseases can in great extend be prevented with the knowledge possessed today, and the damages can in great extend be reversed. The components to achieve this are:

-Adequate dayly food containing whole cereals, peas, beans, vegetables, fruit, fish, mushroms, fouls and seafood, and with just a moderate amount of red meat.

-Just a moderate amount of fat and most of the fat supply comming from sources like olive, fish, nuts, sun-flower, etc. Then you will get a good balance between mono-unsaturated fat (olive), poly-unsaturated fat of the omaga-3-type (fish) and poly-unsaturated fat of the omega-6-type.

-Just a very moderate amount of butter, soya oil, corn oil and palm oil. A high consumption of these fat sources gives you too much saturated fat and poly-unsaturated omega-6-fat.

-Just a very moderate amount of sugar, refined flour or refined cereals.

-Supplements of specific nutritional components like vitamins, minerals, lecitin and some essential fatty acids.

-Adequate training, that both gives both a muscular load, work up your condition and stretches out your body. To stretch out, yoga-exercizes are ideal.

-Adequate rest and stress-reduction. Daily meditation is a method of achieving this. Natural relaxing agents or spesific tools for meditation or relaxation may also be useful.

-Supplements of specific anti-aging agents like anti-oxidants or human growth hormone.

-Use of spesific anti-aging agents to apply upon the skin surface.

-To protect the skin against excessive sun exposure.

The amount one needs of nutritional supplements, like vitamins and minerals, differs very much according to a person`s health condition, work load and exposure to environmental stress. A person having a poor digestion, doing high performance sport or being exposed to a high amount of environmental stressors, may need more than an person in an average situation.

ACAI Berry Named Top 10 Superfoods For Anti-Aging by Dr. Nicholas Perricone

The benefits from eating healthy are endless. And, according to Dr. Nicholas Perricone, some foods can be eaten to help you look and age better! At the top of the list is the acai fruit from the Amazon forest. This little berry is one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world. It can often be found in juice form in health food and gourmet stores.

A previously little-known fruit harvested from the Brazilian rainforest is now gaining recognition for its high levels of the cholesterol-fighting fatty acids, Omega 6 and Omega 9, and its strong concentration -- up to 33 times that found in red wine grapes -- of anthocyanin, a powerful anti-oxidant.

The acai berry is especially noteworthy for the antioxidant properties afforded by its concentration of anthocyanin -- which is also present in red wine -- that prevents oxidants from harming connective tissue while repairing damaged proteins in blood vessel walls. This helps explain the “French Paradox.” The French, who are noted wine drinkers, have one of the lowest incidences of heart disease of any westernized society despite a diet high in cholesterol and saturated fat.

Monavie Inc., a network marketing company started in 2004, is gearing up for launch on January 8, 2005. The company was formed to market a wellness product, the Acai Amazon Berry, in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Australia. With 10 times the antioxidants of grapes and twice the antioxidants of blueberries, the Brazilian Acai berry is considered to have the best nutritional value of any fruit on earth.

MonaVie is a new Acai fruit health drink and opportunity that is currently in it's pre-launch phase. The Acai Berry is taking the world by storm, and is becoming known as the most beneficial fruit in the world.
